Tips On Sizing/Measurements

Here are some important tips on how to find a pair of jeans that’s the right size for you. First, you should take a pair of your own jeans in order to take its measurements. Pick a pair with a good fit, that you feel comfortable in.

To get measurements of the waist:
  • button up the pants
  • lay them flat with the top waist band evenly flat on the back waist band
  • measure from one side to the other keeping the jeans flat; double this measurement for the size of the waist

To measure the hip:
  • measure 3 inches or 7.5cm higher from the crotch stitch
  • measure across the hips from one hip to the other, double this measurement for the size of the hips

To measure the front rise:
  • button or zip up your jeans and lay them flat
  • measure from crotch seam to top of jeans

To measure the back rise:
  • measure from crotch seam to top of the back of the jeans

To measure the thigh:
  • lay your jeans flat and measure from crotch across to outside of leg

To measure the knee:
  • lay your jeans flat and measure 13 inches or 33cm from crotch down inside seam of jeans
  • from this point measure from one side of the jean to the other

To measure hem width/leg opening:
  • lay your jeans flat and measure from one side of the leg opening to the other
  • NB! Please pay attention that with very heavy denim 18oz and above measure the entire circumference of the exterior of the hem using a measuring tape and divide by 2 for a more exact figure
